I like where this is going. Is your thesis going for this sort of apocalyptic feeling? Should be interesting. I'm looking forward to seeing more.
ReplyDeleteWell, the mood is not intended to be light. The novel is indirectly about the holocaust and traces the erased childhood of a character who was separated from his parents at a young age in Nazi Germany and barely remembers anything of his past. Good story, but difficult to translate.
ReplyDeleteJon this is really interesting...this must be very challenging. It deals a lot with Atmospheres it seems. I had a class last semester that our teacher was really into that, I will try to search for some of the readings we read. I am also excited to see more. Good luck and keep going!
