Got a review in a few hours. Wish I could work at this pace all the time. I almost like the raw renders more than the montage versions.

No kidding. I think there's a movie coming out that something along those lines... Anyway, I like the montage particularly the second one. Strengths the shadow gradients and adds to the disconcerting feeling. Although the top one seems a bit off.

ReplyDeleteThese look amazing. I agree with you on the top one Docken. Maybe it is the pallette. I feel like the background jumps out more than the pathway in the water. Can't wait for the final stuff!
Ya, the top one was actually supposed to have that effect to an extent. The beginning of Austerlitz starts with a very mundane and average day until his arrival in Antwerp when he begins to feel uneasy. I was going for a more subdued approach above ground, until one enters the descent. Definitely needs some work though.
